Plum says: I loved the fact that she secured a past, present and future of the character in a mere 250 words. Great job.

Plum says: He did a wonderful job of reflecting someone's love to the very core. That it has no boundaries, and that no matter how much it may hurt loving someone enough to let them go. Great job.
Plum says: I really enjoyed this story. Going through loved ones personal affects brought back memories of my own. And I love the wondering if the character... It felt like a complete story. Great job.
Plum says: I loved hearing the parents thoughts, and the delight of the child. "I know, but someday I will" brought a smile to my face. Excellent job.
It better not land in a puddle.
“I’ll get it!” little Anna cries and immediately runs ahead of me.
I stop running and let her catch the paper. At the age of six she has waayy more energy than I do.
I watch her chase down the paper with a giggle. She has way more fun than I do too. I can’t help but smile.
Within minutes she comes back and holds the paper up to me.
“Here you go.” She says with a wide grin.
“Thank you.” I say, smiling in return as I accept the paper from her.
“But I won’t give you this one. This one’s mine.” Anna holds up another sheet of paper and waves it in the air. I hadn’t noticed it before. She must have found it on the ground somewhere.
“Why is it yours?” I ask, expecting an answer about how she found it, so she gets to keep it.
“I recognized my handwriting.” She states as if it’s the simplest thing in the world.
“Anna, you can’t even write a full sentence.” I reply.
“I know, but someday I will.” She says, “And it will look like this.”
