Siobhan says: Oh, this one was delicious. I only understood it was a twisted Pinocchio at the end, but the revenge and the trapping of a human soul...Nice.
Louisa Bacio | @Louisabacio
Siobhan says: Well of course the dark is a good place to find fun. Hell, add a candle or two and you got yourself a romantic interlude. Thanks for the ideas, Louisa. I'm going to suggest that next time the power goes out. Great sexy tale.

Siobhan says: Oh boy, this one infuriated me - which is exactly what the female character felt. And I love the last line. "I'm done listening." You tell him, sister! Good tale. :)

Siobhan says: "That's a terrible idea." "Yep." "Okay, let's do it." Bwahahahahaha! That made me laugh so hard. Plus, the unique way of splitting the prompt was well done. Such a great tale.
“What is it?”
“Done, would be my first guess.” Two hundred centuries hadn’t improved the stench of burning humans.
“I meant the meaning of it. The how.” He scanned the area. “There’s no ship. No vehicles. Looks like a party gone horribly wrong.”
I didn’t offer my opinion, just scuffed the ground with my boot. This was no accident, it was a statement. A warning.
“Well, worse come to worst, we won’t go hungry.”
“Ugh, no,” I said. “Bite your tongue. That is beyond the worst.”
“There’s a trail heading into the woods. Can’t say how many were here, but they left a wake in the groundcover.”
“You know how to track?”
“You don’t?” I gave a sad shake of my head. “Can’t take you anywhere.”
“I promise you can,” he said. “I’m quite handy at dinner parties featuring planetary leaders. I’m also adept at evading the law.”
“You got captured by a one-eyed scavenger.”
“He was not law enforcement.” Sinjun shifted behind me, running his hands along my arms. “Besides, I was clearly distracted.”
“Don’t try to seduce me in front of—” I tugged one arm free and waved.
“No, I’m more interested in enticing you to leave this gruesome site.”
“And go where?”
“We should know what we’re facing.”
We eyed the scant trail.
“That’s terrible idea.”
“Okay, let’s do it.”
