Siobhan says: Oooh, a little magic, a little adventure, and a burgeoning connection. Nicely done.

Siobhan says: She might be hot for him, but I like that she still made him have to defend himself. Women can be wily, and I suspect she is. Fun tale.

Siobhan says: What I liked about this tale is I've been there, so focused on something (or someone) else, and then asked about something unrelated. Wait, bio-chemistry? Genetics? Physics? 42! lol Nicely done, Bunmi.
Been admiring her since day one of the school term. Today, she looks at me. And winks.
"A'ite class." Mr. Stinson, our teacher. "Settle down and let's have a recap of what we did last time."
She takes the space beside me. I feel uneasy—only in a pleasant way.
"We had introduction to chemistry," blurts an excited voice.
"Good one!" commends the teacher.
With her pencil she starts to doodle on my palm. I struggle with concentration.
"Now, that branch of the field concerned with nonliving things is...anyone?"
"Inorganic chemistry," someone else quips.
"Brilliant!" the tutor commends.
This time it's her big toe voyaging from the back of my foot—a rather 'up-heel' task given the tight gap between us—and then coming to perch on calf. Hamstring tickles. I giggle. Should she ask which way to proceed, my response would be unmistaken: Same way you do--
"Do you remember the chemistry of carbon compounds found abundantly in nature and living things including your own body? Barney?"
I am stupefied, but thanks to a sharp recall I leverage the last word I hear before my name. "Body...er...chemistry," I stutter.
Teacher's eyes pop. "Pardon?"
"Oh, sorry Sir...uh...organic chemistry."
Congratulations Winner Bunmi, Kathryn, and Silver! Don't forget to claim your badges and display them with pride. You certainly earned it!
