Marcelo says: It was creepy yet innocent at the same time which made me chuckle. Ssshhhh . I don't like cats.

Marcelo says: The grandmothers quote was something that my grandma would have told me and was very pure to read.

Marcelo says: The Amulet was very creative to read in contrast to the the other stories, reminded me of James Bond, very secret operations take which I love.

Marcelo says: The story right away grabbed my attention and kept it there wondering what had happened and was gruesome and clever.
“There's something you need to know, this one’s alive!” the cop declared.
I gave my statement of how my step-father had killed my sister, my brother and my mother and then he stabbed me multiple times; only to have me grab the closest object a pen to protect myself. The pen had nicked an aortic artery and my step-father bled out shortly after.
The inquest was done with, I recovered, but I wondered would I be caught? They deserved to die, I reassured myself! They had all beaten me, degraded and belittled me. I went over every detail of how I had first drugged them all to the gills, (except my step-father) in their evening meal. I had wanted him to feel every minute of the killing for his treatment of me (which I still bore the scars) but it had backfired on me. The small dose I had given him had meant that he had caught me as I dressed, after exiting his shower to wash off the blood. He had grabbed the knife from me raging and stabbed me, multiple times. I grabbed the pen off his dresser and stabbed him. Then I ran into my room and called police.
The police had believed me. I was safe. I had gotten away with murder, but had I? Haunted at night, I relive it over and over again, trapped in hell I can never awake from.
