Clary says: Wolves...badasses...need I say more? There's something about the possessiveness of the Nightriders that gets to me. It's also partly how Silver crafts her narrative that just pulls me in.
Bill Engleson | @billmelaterplea
Clary says: Reading Bill's piece, I could just hear that old detective/private investigator movie music playing in the background. I was left wondering if the gal let him "rent" her umbrella. Tell me more.

Clary says: Let's just say that I'm glad that I didn't have anything liquid in my hand or mouth when I read "Kings, please." Pastor poured us each a cup of coffee. "And may the Lord have mercy on my soul." If I had, it'd be all over the MacBook, the dog and the toddler. Thanks for the good laugh.
Cara Michaels | @caramichaels
Clary says: I loved the banter Cara created between the characters. Sweet but a bit serious. I could see myself having a similar conversation about either Dr. Pepper or chocolate with my husband. The genuineness of the scene is what captured me.
I exited the bathroom, drying my hair with a fluffy towel. Graham sipped from a mug of steamy heaven. I considered mugging him, but acknowledged I'd lose the coffee in the process.
"My precious." I reached out, grasping the air. "Gimme."
"Do you want some coffee?" He tipped his head toward the hotel's adorable imitation of a coffee maker. "There is more."
"‘Want' implies a lack of commitment to the sacred java bean." I dropped the towel and flipped over another mug. Draining the carafe, I lifted the mug to my nose and inhaled deeply. "This is a requirement. A need. A-"
I squeaked as Graham stole in between me and the coffee, his lips claiming mine. He eased the mug from my hold without breaking contact. The ceramic banged down on the dresser, then his warm hands framed my face, his tongue sliding along my bottom lip.
He stepped back just as I thought to grab hold. I fisted my empty hands at my sides, tasted the coffee from his kiss.
"What was that?"
"A requirement." His voice was hoarse. "A need."
"Oh." A stampede of butterflies started in my belly and spread through my body.
"So there's no misunderstanding my level of commitment."
"Oh." Given enough time, I'd recover. But my lips tingled as I touched my fingers to them. "Do you need more?"
His wicked smile stole my sanity.
"As much as you'll give me, love."
