No way he could jump that lava stream. It was wider than the one on Stromboli. Deeper than the one he’d braved near Eyjafjallajökull (by the glacier of the volcano that must not be named).
But this one was trickier, because she had dared him to jump.
Her simple, “Maybe you’d like to give it a try,” had thrown him for a loop.
Pure evil. And she had won. He fell in, and burned.
The two million bucks were hers.
