Part of our reasoning to do this is to bring more attention to the Indie authors we love to read. With so many books out there now it's hard to figure out what is a good, well-written book...or not. Keep in mind, these are our opinions, things we like to read.
Today's offering is THE ADMIRAL'S BRIDE by Suzanne Brockmann. Here's the blurb:
When six canisters of a lethal nerve agent are stolen from a military testing lab, Admiral Jake Robinson must recover the chemicals—by any means necessary. With Dr. Zoe Lange at his side he defies convention and decides to infiltrate the compound where religious fanatics have stored the deadly toxin. But Jake fears his instant attraction to Zoe might compromise the mission.
I loved this whole Tall, Dark, & Dangerous series. I first found them as two novella books together and they sucked me in and held me enthralled. I love Suzanne's writing voice and the air of action, adventure, suspense, and romance. It was awesome. This tale in particular is dealing with anti-government survivalists and he must infiltrate along with a smart, sexy scientist who knows the toxin they're looking for. Great tale and I re-read this series when I can. :D
