Part of our reasoning to do this is to bring more attention to the Indie authors we love to read. With so many books out there now it's hard to figure out what is a good, well-written book...or not. Keep in mind, these are our opinions, things we like to read.
Today's offering is DAGGER'S EDGE by Brenna Zinn. Here's the blurb:
Though well hidden, deep scars from Dean "Dagger" Gregory's troubled past have influenced each important decision he's ever made, including joining the military and keeping his distance from his best friend's sister, Mia Benson, the only woman he's ever loved. But after Dagger's friend strong-arms him into checking on the feisty redhead during his leave in Key West, he finds himself under sexual attack and with no desire--or willpower--to retreat.
This is a hot and short read, but worth the lunch break. I really liked how Dagger had to push past the old ideas about relationships with a friend's siblings and how Mia holds it up in front of him and makes him choose. She knew what she wanted and she wasn't going to back down. This was a hot an sexy short read, but again, so worth it.
