Brandi says: because I've been there. Uncooperative children and medicine don't mix.

Brandi says: because it made me laugh out loud. Double Dutch is such a cruel mistress...

Brandi says: because peanut butter jelly time! *laughs at her own joke, which no one else will probably get* Okay, for real this time...because the grammar Nazi who lives inside my head was very amused.

Brandi says: because it was so wonderfully eerie. *shivers* Scarlet looking for her huntsman, and she'll stop at nothing to find him.
In the field of wild flowers, the sun warmed Scarlet to her core. She raised the nosegay to her nose and deeply inhaled, allowing the sweet scent to remind her of him.
They would come.
They always did.
Like every day since she’d seen his face, the memory of his bloody knife’s blade, and the feel of his large hands pulling her free from the wolf’s fold assaulted her. She shivered in anticipation for it to happen again. Her eyes filled with unshed tears, remembering him.
He was her perfection wrapped in a perfect soul. She knew he could make her happy and she could make him happier than anyone else ever could.
A twig snapped in her near.
Two gray wolves appeared at her side.
“Oh no brother, I don’t want none of that,” one said to the other.
"What do you mean, I don't want none of that? She’s there, ripe for the taking."
“Yes, don’t you recognize her?”
She’d killed several of them over the years in hopes of seeing him again, to no avail. They’d become her prey, and if it took killing them all, she would.
Just to see him again.
Scarlet quickly sliced them up and crawled into their carcasses.. Two wolves weren’t going to keep her from her happy ever after.
He was her second half, he just didn’t know it yet.
Draped in red, she waited for him to come.
